What is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is a process that focuses on the science of movement and can help people with maintaining and maximizing their physical strength , function, motion and overall well-being of a person.
PAIN can be due to a variety of reasons but if the pain is persistent measures should be taken to reduce the pain.
People Suffering from Pain are usually recommended a therapy which lasts for 4 weeks.
There are majorly two types of Physical Therapy:
1. Passive Physical Therapy which includes reducing the muscle inflammation through targeting the muscle that is in pain using hot bags or ice bags and electrical simulations.
2. Active physical therapy includes physical activities like exercising and stretching.
Exercises are basic and light weight which helps improve strength and stamina stretching increases the mobility.
Physiotherapy can help in a number of ways and will help you increase your well being thus enhancing the overall quality of life.

There are medications available to reduce pain and minimize the discomfort thereby increasing the overall life quality.
